For a First Installation*

Download QCShow Player (7.4 MB)

1. Click on the hyperlink above to download the installer program.

2. If you are using Microsoft's Internet Explorer Browser: "Open" or "Run" the installation file rather than "saving" it on your PC. It's simply easier.

   If you are using the Firefox/Mozilla/Netscape Browsers: "Save" the installation file to your desktop. Once downloaded, double-click on the newly created desktop icon to start the installation.

3. Choose where you would like QCShow to reside on your PC if you find the default location unsatisfactory.

4. As soon as the Player completes its installation, you are ready to use the Player. If you now click on any webpage's hyperlink that ends in ".qcshow", the Player will launch and you should soon see the talk begin.

Quick instructions on the Player's use: these keyboard keys perform the following functions:

ESC KEY	quits the lecture
ARROW KEYS, HOME, END, PAGE UP, PAGE DOWN	advances or retards slide
SPACE BAR	pauses/resumes play
LETTER "I"	displays information panel

Version in Development

A Mac/Linux/Unix version of QCShow Player is currently under development, although development has been temporarily suspended until the nature of the new x86-based Macintosh design becomes clearer.

Mininum system requirements: Unknown at this time.
